Sam Canale

Sam brings 15 years of dance training including ballet, jazz, modern, hip hop and ballroom to Fit Club.  She is certified in Zumba, Aqua Zumba, Zumba Senteo, and Billy Blanks Jr. Certified. Her training philosophy is “Keep it simple and fun. Progress, not perfection.”  She is incredibly excited to be a part of the Fit Club family!

Since she was young, she’s always been active in the dance community and have tried to blend it into her adult life as much as possible. First and foremost, she believes it is important to have fun before all else. It’s her goal to make an hour fly by and leave you wanting the class to never end.

Jenny Conciatore

Jenny has been teaching fitness classes for over 15 years.  Her energy and passion for helping others and inspiring them to be their best selves is apparent in the way she conducts all of her classes.  Jenny loves teaching strength and conditioning classes, Zumba, and NOW Fit Boxing!

Jenny has a BA in Psychology, is AFAA certified in Group Fitness, Zumba and Strong by Zumba certified, and SCW Fit Boxing certified.

When Jenny is not in her second home (Fit Club) you can find her in a hockey rink, on a golf course, or in the kitchen cooking food for her three boys and pup.

Denise Hearon

Denise’s love for yoga began 22 years ago when she took up yoga during the pregnancy of her first child. Over the years she has practiced many styles of yoga but her true passion is Vinyasa. Her classes infuse music, philosophy, strength and flow with an emphasis on connecting the breath to movement.

After fracturing her neck and lower back in an accident years ago, Yoga brought tremendous healing, strength, serenity and awareness in her life. Denise’s love for yoga also brought her to Basil Yoga Studio where she trained under Basil Jones to complete her RYT-200.  She is a teacher of Vinyasa yoga as well as Vin to Yin. She sees her role as a teacher to support and guide her students as they experience yoga in their own way and in their own time.

Denise strives for continuous growth and has discovered transformation through her yoga journey – physically, mentally, emotionally, and energetically. She believes in the power of connecting breath, mind, heart and movement through yoga.  Denise’s compassion, positivity and love of music shine through in her classes and she hopes to help others discover their edge and their own transformation through yoga.  Denise is happy to share the experience of connection that yoga creates and to witness in others, the enhanced inner peace, clarity, and happiness that a yoga practice brings.

Joe Lang

Lang has been practicing Taekwondo for over 30 years and has traveled around the globe to train and compete.Joe holds multiple World Championship titles and gold medals in various areas of Taekwondo including sparring, board breaking and pattern. He has trained under the elite of the martial arts world and is also skilled in a multitude of martial arts weapons. Currently he holds the rank of 4th degree black belt in ITF Taekwondo.

Melissa Rodgers

Melissa’s Vinyasa style yoga classes are infused with wit and wisdom and taught from the heart with love, compassion, a sense of humor, and with respect for what each individual can accomplish both on and off their mat.  Her dream is to inspire and enable people to improve their lives and the world around them.

Melissa has been a CYT since 2011 and specializes in Power Yoga.  She is also a Certified Teachers Assistant and has trained in and teaches Restorative Yoga.
